Client:  Commercial rental and full service truck leasing division of one of the world's leading suppliers of logistics and highway transportation solutions

Objective: Continuously train and develop account managers.

Challenge: Design and develop a performance-based training program that could be administered to individual account managers at field offices throughout the country.

Solution: Training by Design created a self-paced Sales Reference Guide that included a variety of learning activities such as structured on-the-job training, sales proposal development and practice consultative sales calls. Additional deliverables consisted of a Sales Learning Map, which outlined the tasks, skills and competencies of an effective account manager, an individualized Training Plan and a Training Supervisor's Guide. Learning was measured through self-check exercises and performance observations.
