How We Do It Training by Design works with clients throughout the United States. Thanks to the convergence of computers and telecommunications technology, we use:
Based near Kansas City, our central location allows us to be available by phone during business hours from coast-to-coast. We use a systematic process to ensure efficient content development and delivery. Working closely with your staff, we ensure that your company's materials are designed to meet its specific requirements and for its exclusive use. Step 1. We determine the client’s needs and draft a letter of agreement that lists the project start and finish dates, milestones, responsibilities (ours and the client’s), payment terms and conditions. Step 2. We start the project with a conference call or face-to-face meeting at the client's site. We highly recommend that the client assign a project manager/contact person. In this meeting we introduce project team members, review roles and responsibilities, set up a project schedule and discuss quality standards. At this point, the client provides us with pertinent content and materials by e-mail, fax or overnight shipping. Step 3. We develop course content according to the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) model and submit drafts via e-mail or fax for subject matter experts to review. We discuss feedback during a conference call or face-to-face meeting at the client’s site. Step 4. We maintain contact via e-mail and phone throughout the project. We work closely with the project manager/contact person to schedule content reviews and an onsite train-the-trainer session. Step 5. We deliver final camera-ready copy via e-mail or overnight shipping for client production and distribution. At the end of the project, we follow up with clients to make sure we’ve met or exceeded their expectations.
